International Black & Diversity Film Festival (IBDFF) 2026 – Event Description
The 6th Edition of the International Black & Diversity Film Festival (IBDFF 2026) will take place April 17–19, 2026 in Ajax, Ontario, Canada, celebrating outstanding films from Black and diverse filmmakers from Canada and around the world.
IBDFF is a multicultural film festival dedicated to promoting inclusive storytelling and providing a platform for emerging and established filmmakers. The festival brings together filmmakers, industry professionals, and audiences for a vibrant cultural and cinematic experience in the Ajax–Durham Region.
Festival Program
IBDFF 2026 will feature two days of film screenings and festival activities, followed by a Closing Gala Awards Ceremony on the third day.
